The Desktop Series are standard table top Hot-Bar Systems using Pulsed Heat Thermode technology for Reflow-Soldering and Heat Seal Bonding.

The DT-500-PH Desktop Hot Bar Bonding features either a motorized X-axis table, Y-axis table, or XY axis table and is ideally suited for applications which require hot bar bonding multiple parts in an array at one time, bonding multiple flexes onto one PCB, or bonding one flex to both a PCB and an LCD.

Miyachi Unitek's Desktop Bonders are also capable of performing heat staking. Heat Staking is an assembly process utilized in many high tech fields; it is also used in the manufacture of a variety of everyday consumer products.

With a quick and inexpensive tooling and thermode retrofit, Miyachi Unitek's Desktop Bonders - traditionally used for hot bar reflow soldering and bonding processes – can do heat staking at a fraction of the price of purchasing a piece of equipment specifically for that purpose!
